Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the system is updated with exact and detailed customer orders
• Execute the payment process in such a way that it goes smoothly without any errors
• Tasked with protecting cash and other monetary instruments from potential theft
• Make daily deposits as per the policies and procedures outlined by the Company
• Prioritize answering phone calls and responding to customer questions with utmost respect and timeliness
• Manage the shipment schedule in such a way that it suits the customers' schedule and meets the company's operational standards
• Hold onto any open orders and respectfully relay the status to customers
• Adapt to the Company's requirements and prepare daily reports accordingly
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Ashley Home Store Furniture products to answer customer inquiries, make suggestions, and generate sales leads
• Provide assistance to the Office Manager on an as-needed basis

Be able to handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely:

• A High School diploma or GED is a mandatory requirement for this position
• Demonstrating an acute acuity for commerce and remarkable spoken and hearing capabilities
• Familiarity with popular software like Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is a crucial element of computer literacy and knowledge
• Proven expertise in cash handling and Excellent aptitude in numerical manipulation
• Effective listening, resolving conflicts, and mentoring skills are other pillars of a person possessing well-developed interpersonal and human relations abilities
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve predicaments
• The key to handling customer or vendor complaints lies in making sound judgments and decisions in order to respond to their inquiries in a way that meets their expectations
• Consistently capable of carrying or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds
• Being bilingual can enhance one's personal and professional opportunities
